On the season eight premiere of “The Masked Singer,” three celebrities were eliminated.
With the new format, on each episode, a group of celebrities will perform but only one will move on in the competition.
Harp is moving on while the Knight, Hedgehog and Hummingbird were eliminated.
The Knight performed “Puttin’ on the Ritz” by Fred Astaire. Alas, this was the Knight’s frontier that is final he boldly went where no man has gone before.
The Knight was William Shatner. Panelist Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg guessed correctly.
Hedgehog sang “Love Me Do” by the Beatles. Hummingbird sang “I Don’t like to Be” by Gavin DeGraw.

Hedgehog was Eric Idle, an actor and comedian who is a member that is former of Python. Panelist Robin Thicke guessed this one correctly.
And, cliffhanger – the show will likely not reveal who Hummingbird is through to the episode that is next Wednesday, Sept. 28.
Show host is Nick Cannon. The other panelists are Nicole Scherzinger and Ken Jeong.
