LONDON (Reuters) – British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak fired the Conservative Social gathering chair Nadhim Zahawi from authorities on Sunday after an impartial investigation into his tax affairs discovered a severe breach of the ministerial code.
“Following the completion of the Unbiased Adviser’s investigation – the findings of which he has shared with us each – it’s clear that there was a severe breach of the Ministerial Code,” Sunak stated in a letter to Zahawi.
“Consequently, I’ve knowledgeable you of my determination to take away you out of your place in His Majesty’s Authorities.”
