NEW DELHI, Dec 8 (Reuters) – India expects its cell phones exports to rise to 700 billion rupees ($8.50 billion) to 750 billion rupees ($9.11 billion) this fiscal yr, a authorities minister stated on Thursday.
The exports shall be of “traditional and main manufacturers”, together with merchandise of corporations like Apple Inc (AAPL.O) made in India, stated Rajeev Chandrasekhar, minister of state for electronics and know-how.
Exports had been $5.8 billion within the final fiscal yr that ended on March 31, in accordance with media experiences.
